The Path to the Heart of the Earth
Share
We invite you to embark on a unique experience along the Path to the Heart of Ciudad Perdida, a transformative journey organized by Delzur in collaboration with the Kogui community, set in this majestic region.
Ciudad Perdida, the mesmerizing archaeological site of the Tayrona culture, lies deep within the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Founded around 800 AD, this ancient city—also known as Teyuna—is a historical treasure hidden within dense jungle and towering mountains. Its rediscovery in the 1970s unveiled an intricate network of terraces and stone pathways, showcasing the sophistication of a remarkable civilization.
For the indigenous peoples of the Sierra, this land is more than a mountain range; it is the Heart of the World—a sacred place where the universe’s vital energy flows freely, maintaining the harmony of all existence. Immerse yourself in this powerful energy and allow the land to guide you on a journey of profound transformation.
How to Get There?
To reach Ciudad Perdida, you must embark on a multi-day trek through the lush landscapes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
